About Us Ocmulgee Tree and Saw is located in Monticello GA. I grew up in my Pop's shop helping him build custom kitchen cabinets and that's where my love for wood started. About three years ago I bought a portable sawmill and my goal was to build a house for my family of five.  I am a welder by trade so I wanted to build some industrial furniture.  I enjoyed the process of savaging and milling the wood. Friends and family strated requesting their unique pieces.  Me, my wife and our three kids enjoy working together covered in sawdust, stain and glue.  But really, every piece is handcrafted right here! When you contact Ocmulgee about your project I will take the time to come up with a design you will enjoy for years to come. The wood we use normally comes from here unless some special wood is specifically requested. Preserving the natural beauty of the wood and showing the color and grain of the wood is what it is all about. Having this type of beauty in our home was so special to our family that we couldn't help but share with others and so Obmulgee Tree and Saw came into being. Our heart and desire is to share the beauty of the natural wood of this great land with anyone that would like to enjoy and appreciate its special characture. The smell, the feel, the color, the natural design of the Creator, all are such an important part of what we do.
